Founded by Brian Grosz in April 2009, LAPDANCE ACADEMY is a Brooklyn-based collective of musicians and songwriters - equal parts Manson Family, Partridge Family and Addams Family.

Embracing both the positive and negative aspects of music's place in the Digital Era, Lapdance Academy releases high-quality, DRM-free MP3 files completely free of charge - often packaged with PDF digi-booklets and cover art designed by Grosz, himself.

"People are going to ignore it or find a way to get it for free if you slap a price tag on your music," Grosz says. "I think that If you're going to get screwed, you should at least get to pick the position and the safe-word so you can try to enjoy yourself."

Here at Lapdance Academy, we like free stuff (free speech, free love, free rides, free refills), so the majority of the musical and multimedia content in our catalog is gratis. Keep it. It's on us. Seriously, just take it.
