NICE NEW OUTFIT seemingly disappeared just as fast as they emerged in the Connecticut music scene, writing just a handful of songs and playing even fewer shows in CT and NY from 2008-09. In fact, so little is documented about their time together that their MotherChunk EP exists as an aural photograph of Bigfoot riding Haley's Comet to JD Salinger's house.

Fronted by the bone-rattling wails of Anthony Yacobellis - founder of the now-legendary "Sub Rosa Party" music series - and driven to pulverizing levels of volume by guitarists Joshua Obijiski and Morgan Pearce, bassist Jason Murray and drummer Tim Brennan, MotherChunk represents a feverish attempt to document the band before its self-imposed extinction.

Mortally wounded, but fighting to the last Spartan breath, Nice New Outfit's MotherChunk should be honored... with a very loud stereo.
